I have created an mini course that outlines in 8 modules some of the decisions you will face, the supplies you will need, and the resources you will need to learn if you are interested in becoming a work from home bookkeeper and to someday open your own remote bookkeeping business.
They say that necessity is the Mother of Invention, and in my case it certainly was. When I was first diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that affected my ability to work, I was faced with serious decisions. Luckily, I was able to build upon my life knowledge as a bookkeeper and open my own independent bookkeeping firm.
I see others, predominantly women because female is the gender that autoimmune conditions seem to mostly target, struggle in the same situation I was put into. This led me to create first, a free mini course that would help someone decide if a bookkeeping career was really a good fit, and secondly, two courses soon to follow, "Basics of Bookkeeping" and "Quickbooks Online Essentials".
Also in the works is a Mentoring Program to provide guidance and support to individuals looking to start or grow their bookkeeping business.
