I knew this was coming, I actually thought it would be sooner. The government realizes that some small businesses are getting scammed big time from shady characters running "ERC mills."
I am sure that just like myself, your inbox has been getting slammed with messages from "ERC Specialists" offering to apply for your thousands of dollars in "free money" from the ERC Program. These people do not care if you are actually eligible, they only care about getting their percentage of the money, then leaving you on the hook to pay the IRS back the FULL amount if it is found that you were ineligible.
